ABOUT ME
As an ESOL college lecturer I understand that not everyone wants to learn in the same way. That is why my lessons are prepared uniquely for you as an individual or group. I have successfully worked with university Master students, professionals, college ESOL students and High School students in realising their goals and furthering their future.
I know how difficult it is to learn a language. I moved to live in Spain when I was twenty seven years old and taught myself Spanish, many years later I continue to learn the language. I have had a variety of experiences throughout my diverse career including senior management in textiles and travel before embarking on ESOL. I began in Spain where I worked for small private language schools delivering Business English to a diverse range of International companies. I developed the Business English curriculum which was delivered on-site, liaising with company directors to ensure that the business and personal needs of the students were being met. From there I moved to Scotland where I have been working for Scottish Councils and Forth Valley College.
I create a comfortable learning environment allowing you to relax and enjoy learning which in turn aids your progress. Being in a safe environment allows you to practise your language freely without worrying about making mistakes.
I am receptive to new ideas and always take into consideration my students needs, I have extensive experience of preparing dynamic and engaging lessons that keep my students engaged and interactive with the materials at all times allowing them to pass their assessments.
